ABOUT THE ROLE
The Bridge Between Clients and Results
You will own client relationships and connect every need to the right internal action.
As our Client Success Manager, you will own the relationship and overall success of an assigned group of clients. You will serve as the connection between each client, our founder, and our internal delivery team.
You will not be expected to personally build campaigns, design landing pages, or edit creative. However, you must understand digital marketing well enough to evaluate & communicate performance, identify potential problems, ask the right questions, and coordinate the appropriate next steps.
For example, if a campaign is underperforming, you should recognize the issue and work with the founder and internal team to revise the strategy & proactively communicate changes with the client.
This will be a gradual transition. You will begin by shadowing the founder, learning our clients and processes, and taking ownership of accounts gradually as you become ready. The founder will continue managing a separate group of clients and remain involved in client strategy, escalation, or additional support.
Day to day
What You'll Do
A mix of client-facing relationship work and internal coordination that keeps campaigns on track.
Own Client Relationships
Manage the day-to-day health of assigned accounts. Build trusted, long-term partnerships with local service business owners.
Report with Context
Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports with meaningful context, not simply a list of metrics. Translate data into clear, useful explanations.
Monitor Client Health
Track campaign performance in tandem with the internal media buyer. Identify concerns and opportunities before they become larger problems.
Diagnose Issues
Determine which marketing levers need attention: targeting, creative, offers, landing pages, tracking, lead follow-up, or campaign strategy.
Coordinate the Team
Work with media buyers, web designers, editors, support staff, and the founder to move improvements forward across every account.
Lead Calls & Onboarding
Lead onboarding, reporting, strategy, and check- in calls based on each client's needs. Participate in discovery and handoff calls with the founder.
Proactive Outreach
Contact clients who have become disengaged or may be at risk of leaving. Escalate performance or relationship concerns to the founder & internal team when appropriate.
Stay Organized
Keep client requests, decisions, action items, and internal follow-ups organized through Asana (our internal project management software) so nothing falls through the cracks.
Refine Processes
Help shape and improve the agency's client success systems as the role grows and the team scales.
